How to care for your framed print, mug and tote

2026-09-02

Everything we make is printed to order, and a little care keeps the colours looking fresh. Here is how to look after each piece.

Framed art prints

  • Hang away from direct sun, which fades any print over time.
  • Dust the frame with a dry soft cloth. Wipe the acrylic front with a slightly damp microfibre cloth and no glass cleaner, which can cloud acrylic.
  • Avoid steamy spots such as directly above a kettle or in a bathroom.
  • Your print arrives in a real wood frame with an acrylic front, ready to hang. Use the fixings that suit your wall, and a spirit level makes hanging much easier.

Ceramic mugs

  • Our 11oz mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand washing keeps the print looking its best for longest.
  • Avoid abrasive scourers on the printed area.
  • Let a very hot mug cool for a moment before cold water touches it.

Cotton tote bags

  • Wash cold, inside out, with similar colours, and skip fabric softener.
  • Line dry in the shade. If you iron, turn the tote inside out and keep the iron off the print.
  • Natural canvas can shrink slightly on the first wash, so leave a little room if you are fitting it to something.

Colours may vary slightly

Each item is printed on demand, and colours on screen are a close guide rather than an exact match. If something arrives damaged or faulty, contact us with a photo and we will make it right.
